Hearty Taco Pie - Recipe

A simple casserole that everyone will enjoy. Warm and full of Mexican flavor and topped off with cool lettuce, tomato and sour cream. Or whatever other toppings your family enjoys.

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°.

In a skillet, brown meat; drain. Stir in tomato sauce and seasoning mix and simmer 5 minutes.

Unroll dough and press into bottom and sides of ungreased 12" pizza pan. Prick bottom and sides with a fork. Bake 10-12 minutes.

Cover crust with meat mixture and top with cheese. Continue baking until cheese begins to melt, approximately 5-10 minutes.

Top with remaining ingredients.

-		1 pound hamburger
-		1 can tomato sauce (8 ounce can)
-		1 packet taco seasoning mix
-		1 tube crescent rolls (8 ounce tube)
-		1/2 pound Velveeta cheese, cubed
-		1 cup shredded lettuce
-		1/2 cup tomato, chopped
-		1/4 cup black olives, sliced (optional)
-		1/2 cup sour cream
-		1/2 cup salsa
