Beef Noodle Bowl - Recipe

An Asian inspired pasta dish filled with protein and vegetables. Serve it with egg rolls. Who needs Chinese takeout when you can make this so easily in the comforts of your own home?

Cook pasta as directed on package, adding broccoli and carrots to the cooking water for the last 2 minutes of the pasta cooking time; drain.

In a large nonstick skillet, add meat and cook until browned on all sides, stirring occasionally.

Stir in dressing, teriyaki sauce and ginger to the browned meat. Cook until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.

Toss pasta and meat mixtures in large serving bowl. Sprinkle peanuts just before serving, if desired.

NOTE: You could substitute 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger root for the ground ginger.

-3 carrots, peeled, sliced
-2 teaspoons oil
-1 pound beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
-1/4 cup Italian dressing
-1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
-1 teaspoon ground ginger
-1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts, crushed (optional)
