Bake 350° for 10-12 minutes, until cheese slightly browns
Put a handful of shaved ham on bottom half of roll. Slice cheese larger than roll and place on top of ham. Brush some of the butter mixture inside top half of roll. Place top half of roll over cheese. Put toothpick in center of each sandwich to avoid top of roll from sliding. Place on cookie sheet with 1 inch or more between each. Generously brush on the liquid mixture, keeping it stirred. Be sure to make enough of the liquid mixture to put a generous amount on each. You can make the sandwiches early and add liquid closer to serving time.
