| | Directions | | Sift together flour, sugar and baking soda. In a separate bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, water/buttermilk, nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. Then combine with dry ingredients, but do not mix too thoroughly. Pour into a well-buttered 9x5x3 in. loaf pan. Bake 50-60 minutes at 350°F. Turn out of the pan and cool on a rack. |
