| | Directions | | Place apples in buttered 8 inch square baking dish. Pour water over apples. Sift flour, sugar and cinnamon into mixing bowl. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Spread over the apples. Bake at 375° about 45 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. |
