Prepare and bake brownie mix in a greased 9 x 13 pan according to package directions.
Let cool.
Mix powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter and peanut butter, spread over brownies, Chill 1 hour melt chips and remaining 6 TBSP butter. Spread over brownies. Let cool and cut into squares.
