Put pineapples on bottom of a 9X13 pan, sherries next and then sprinkle unprepared cake mix over the cherries and pineapples. Cover with chopped pecans and slices of margarine on top of that .
Cook at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until brown.
