Mix together 2 packages cream cheese, one cup of sugar, egg yolk. Add vanilla and mix well. In a 9 x 13 pan, spread one package of crescent roll into the bottom of the pan and pinch together seams. Spread cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining package of crescent rolls. Pinch seams. Brush top with egg white and sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar. Bake at 325° F. for 35 to 40 minutes. Make sure egg white is cooked and not still runny.
-2 packages Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
-1 egg, separated (save the egg white)
-2 packages cream cheese (8 ounce each), softened
-1 1/2 cups sugar
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
