| Directions | Sift together dry ingredients and stir in nuts. Mix cherries with egg and butter. Combine the two mixtures. Pour into greased 9" baking dish. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Add enough water to cherry juice to make 1 C. In a saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients. Cook over medium heat until smooth and thick, stirring constantly. Pour over cake and serve. |
