Melt chocolate chips in microwave or over hot water. Add one whole egg and beat. Separate yolks from whites of the other two eggs. Add yolks one at a time to chocolate mixture and beat well after each addition.

Beat egg whites until they form stiff peaks. Whip cream until stiff.

Add salt and vanilla to chocolate mixture. Fold in beaten egg whites with a rubber spatula. Last, fold in whipped cream. Chill until ready to serve. You may add whipped cream and chocolate to garnish. Serves 6.
