Directions
Caramelize 1 cup sugar in iron skillet.

Add one-third of the milk. Stir rapidly as it boils fast. Add another 1 cup sugar and one-third more milk. Bring to boil.

Add remaining 1 cup sugar and remaining milk. Cook until it forms a soft ball and water stays clear when tested.

Add vanilla and nuts. Stir until it begins to harden in the skillet. Pour into buttered pan.
