| | Directions | | In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, oil, eggs and pumpkin. Sift dry ingredients and add them to sugar mixture alternating with water. Pour batter into greased bundt pan or flour one pound coffee cans, filling half full. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. For heartier cake, add 1 cup chopped pecans and/or 1 cup raisins just before pouring into baking pans or cans. Hint: For a sweet treat slice bread rounds and serve with orange cream cheese. |
