Cram sugar and shortening, add egg, then dry ingredients and milk. Mix thoroughly. Drop on greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake 375-400° until done. Whoopie pie filling~ 3/4 Cup milk 1/4 tsp salt 2 T. flour Cook until thick and then cool well. Cream 3/4 Cup sugar, 3/4 Cup shortening and add to milk, salt and flour. Beat until light and fluffy. Add tsp vanilla. Mix well. Spread between pies. |
