Mix flour and sugar with 9" x 13" cake size mix (regular box of cake mix). Add the ingredients listed on the cake mix plus the egg, oil, vanilla and water listed above. This makes enough for a nice 1/2 sheet size (12" x 17") cake. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes.
NOTE:With this you get the texture of a cake mix and the flavor of homemade.
