Bacon and Cheeseburgers - Recipe

Bacon makes everything better, right? And these burgers are no exception! The bacon keeps the burger moist and adds great flavor.

Bacon and Cheeseburgers Recipe
  • Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.
  • In a large bowl, combine the cheeses, onion, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Crumble in the ground beef and add the bacon. Mix together by hand just until combined. Don't over mix or your burgers will get tough.
  • Form into 4 patties. Place patties on the grill, and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until done. Place buns on the grill to toast cut-side, watching closely.
  • Serve on toasted buns with any toppings you prefer.

-1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
-1/4 cup onion , grated
-1 egg
-1 tablespoon ketchup
-1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
-1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/4 teaspoon pepper
-1 pound ground beef
-4 slices bacon - fried crisp and crumbled into pieces
-4 hamburger buns, split
- lettuce, tomatoes, pickles (optional)
