Sift dry ingredients together. Add milk, butter, vanilla, and nuts. Pour into greased square or oblong cake pan. Pour the following sauce over the raw batter:
1/2 C. white sugar
1/2 C. brown sugar
1 T. cocoa
1 C. warm water
Mix together and pour over batter. Bake 40-50 minutes at 350°.
