Lemon Garlic Artichokes - Recipe

Artichokes seared in lemon and garlic.

Directions
  • Cut artichokes in half lengthwise.
  • Trim leaves and stem.
  • Scoop out bristles from above heart.
  • Cut off top 1/4 an inch of artichoke.
  • Boil artichokes for 15 minutes.
  • Take out artichokes from water, dry off.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan until hot.
  • Set art hearts flat side down into oil.
  • Add crushed garlic cloves.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Occasionally shake pan to make sure artichokes don't stick.
  • Once arts are browned, pour in lemon juice.
  • Remove from heat and let sit until they cool.
  • Eat em up!
