| | Directions |
- In a large pot saute onion and garlic in oil until almost brown.
- Add peppers and saute for 1 minute.
- Add tomato sauce and bring to boil.
- Place lentils and sausage in pot and lower heat to simmer.
- Add all preferred spices and simmer for 45 min to 1 hour.
- Cover pot.
- If during the simmering the sauce starts to dry, add a little water.
