| Directions | Preheat oven to 350°. Grease cookie sheets. In medium bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Stir in pumpkin and vanilla. Stir together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon; stir into creamed mixture. Then mix in butterscotch chips. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes in preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool 1 minute on cookie sheets before transferring to wire cooking racks. |
