| | Directions | | Cream together sugar and shortening. Beat in 2 eggs. Add soda dissolved in milk, flour and salt. Mix all together. Chill dough. Roll out 1/2 inch thick. Cut out cookies to your desired shape. Bake in 350° oven for about 10-12 minutes (time varies, depends on size and thickness of dough). Do a test cookie. |
