In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and soda; blend into creamed mixture. Blend in nuts and coconuts. Stir in chocolate mini baking bits. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.; flatten with back of spoon. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Do not over cook. Cool one minute on cookie sheet. Cool completely on wire rack. Store in tightly covered container.
