| Directions | Grease baking sheet and set aside. Mix sugar, corn syrup, & peanuts in microwave-casserole dish. Microwave for 4 minutes on high. Stir. Microwave 4 more minutes. Stir in butter and vanilla; microwave for 2 more minutes. Remove from oven and stir in baking soda. Immediately pour onto prepared baking sheet, spreading thinly. Cool. Break into bite size pieces. Makes about 1 1/2 pounds candy. Note: Warming the baking sheet will help to spread candy out thinner. |
