| Directions | Cream margarine or butter and sugar - add egg yolks and blend. Gradually add flour & mix well. Fold in nuts. Place 1/2 dough in 9" square pan (generously greased). Spread dough evenly. Top with jam to within 1/2 inch of edge. Take remaining dough in palm of hand, then place in pan, starting at any corner, and make another layer on top of the jam. Bake 325° for 1 hour or longer "till light brown. When completely cooled, cut in squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar. |
