- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and salt; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Whisk egg and water together; sprinkle over flour mixture and toss. Form dough into a ball; press into a 13x9 inch pan. Bake for 7 minutes.
- Increase oven to 425 degrees F.
- For filling, combine sugar, flour and spices; toss with the peaches. Pour over the crust. Pour cream over peaches. Bake for 20 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bake 25 minutes longer or until peaches are tender. Let stand 25 minutes before serving. Refrigerate any leftovers.
