  • In a large bowl, combine the margarine, white sugar, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, and milk.
  • Add the oil, flour, baking soda, and salt, alternating the flour and oil while stirring.
  • Add the oatmeal, Wheaties or Total cereal, and the chocolate chips.
  • Drop small amounts onto ungreased cookie sheets. Leave enough space between the cookies to allow them to spread while baking.
  • Bake at 350ºF until done (about 9 or 10 minutes).
  • Makes 5-6 dozen cookies.
