Beat butter, peanut butter and sugars until smooth. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Stir together flour, soda and salt. Add to butter mixture. Beat well.
Shape dough into small 1 inch balls. Place in 1 3/4 inch mini muffin tins.
Bake at 350° for 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately press Reeses Peanut Butter Cup into the center warm cookie. Allow to cool before removing from muffin tins.
