Chocolate Toffee Crescent Bars 2 - Recipe

Directions
Separate crescent dough into two large rectangles. Place in an ungreased 15x10 jelly roll pan. Gently press dough to cover bottom of pan; seal perforations. In small saucepan, combine brown sugar and butter; boil 1 minute. Pour evenly over dough Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 375° for 14-18 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven; immediately sprinkle with chocolate pieces. Slightly swirl pieces as they melt, leaving some pieces partially melted or whole (Do not spread evenly; leave a mottled appearance). Cool; cut into bars. Makes 3-4 dozen bars.

For large pan, use 2 crescent rolls and double butter and brown sugar.

-1 can Pillsbury Refrigerated Quick Crescent Dinner Rolls (8 ounce can)
-2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
-2/3 cup butter or margarine
-1 1/2 cups nut halves or chopped nuts
-1 package milk chocolate or semisweet chocolate pieces (6 ounce pkg)
