Sift flour. Remove 1/2 cup flour and add baking powder and dash of salt. In large bowl cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix milk and vanilla. Add alternately to creamed mixture: flour, flour mixture, milk mixture. Refrigerate. Roll out 1/4". Cut, using cookie cutters. Bake at 350° for 8-9 minutes on lightly greased pan or parchment paper. |
