| Directions | On med heat melt butter in a sauce pan, add sugar stirring until hard crack stage and toffee colored. (continue to stir or will burn and scorch about 20 min) Before cooking spread nuts on cookie sheet - When at hard crack stage remove from heat pour on to cookie sheet, let set for 10 min. Score into bite size pieces when cooled. Pull apart. NOTES: Toffee is just as good without nuts. You can also melt cho. chips and pour on before scoring to have like a heath bar affect. |
