| Melt chips in sweetened condensed milk, stir until completely mixed. Add nuts if desired. Spread out in an 8-inch pan and let stand. Cut in 1-inch squares. VARIATIONS: Use mint chips instead of butterscotch or 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk melted and spread on bottom of 8 inch pan. 1 1/2 cups white chips, second 1/2 can sweetened condensed milk melted and 1 teaspoon orange, mint, raspberry or other flavoring and corresponding food coloring. Spread on or swirl in chocolate. |
