| Directions | Cream butter; add sugar and cream cheese. Cream egg yolks in with sugar and cream cheese. Sift sugar and spices together; dissolve soda in buttermilk.Then add flour, sugar and milk. Add vanilla, pecans and preserves. Beat egg whites and fold in. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300F until brown. Cool and wrap in foil. |
