Put eggs in saucepan. Add enough tap water to cover at least 1" above eggs. Cover; Bring to a rapid boil. Remove pan from heat. Let stand in hot water 15 minutes. Cool immediately and thoroughly in cold water.

To remove shell: Crack eggs tapping gently all over. Begin peeling at large end, holding egg under cold water to ease off shell.
