| | Directions | | Combine dry ingredients and add very warm milk and water to dry mix. Beat well. Stir in 2 1/4 c. of flour to make stiff batter. Spoon into 2 bread greased pans. Sprinkle with cornmeal. Cover and let rise for 45 minutes or until at top of pan. Bake 400° for 20-25 minutes or until light brown. Remove immediately and cool. |
