| | Directions | | Combine sugar, oil, oats, salt and boiling water. When cool, add yeast that has been softened in lukewarm water. Add flours and bran and mix to a moderately stiff dough. Knead, adding more flour until dough is no longer sticky. Cover and let rise until dough has doubled. Divide into 3 equal pieces. Shape into 12 rolls from each piece. Place into 3 greased 9 inch round pans. Let rise until double. Bake at 375° for 20-25 minutes until nicely brown. |
