| | Directions | | Sift flour, salt and baking powder into bowl. Cut in shortening. Add milk and mix until dough starts to cling to beater. Avoid over-beating. Knead lightly. Turn out onto floured board and roll into 1/2" thickness. Cut with 2" biscuit cutter. Place on greased baking sheets and brush with melted butter. Bake @ 400° for 12 to 15 minutes. |
