| | Directions | | Beat eggs and sugar together. Add cooled shortening. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Roll on lightly flour surface to 1/2 inch thickness and cut with doughnut cutter. Fry in deep hot fat (375 degrees) until brown. Drain on absorbent paper towels. Makes 3 dozen doughnuts. |
