| Directions | Place butter and sugar in large bowl - pour heated milk over the top and let stand. In small glass bowl, mix yeast with water and 1 T sugar - let stand for 5 minutes. Add eggs and yeast to other mixture. Gradually add flour and salt. Beat well with spoon. No kneading. Cover with cloth and let rise for 1 1/2 hours in warm place. Punch down with hands and pat out on floured surface. Using a circle cookie cutter or floured glass, cut circles then fold circle in half. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes. Makes 3 1/2 dozen. |
