| | Directions | | Grease or coat a 9-inch round or square cake pan with cooking spray. Mix butter, oats, 1/4 cup of the all-purpose flour and brown sugar in small bowl with a fork or pastry cutter until crumbly. Set aside. Combine whole wheat four, remaining cup of all-purpose flour, sugar, oil, milk, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and egg in large bowl. Beat mixture with whisk or mixer for 1-2 minutes, until well blended. Stir in berries. Spread half the batter in pan and sprinkle half the oat mixture on top. Add remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining oat mixture and walnuts. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm. Serves 12. |
