| | Directions | | In mixer bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, cinnamon and sugar; mix well. In saucepan, heat milk, water and butter until warm (butter does not need to melt); add to flour mixture. Add eggs. Beat at low speed until moistened; beat 3 minutes at medium speed. Cover; let rise in warm oven for 20 minutes (turn oven to lowest setting for 1 minute and turn off). Heat oil to 375-400°. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls into oil and fry about 2 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and roll in cinnamon sugar. If puffs are too big they may be gooey inside. |
