Directions
Mix sugar and Crisco with 1 cup boiling water and allow to cool slightly. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Add yeast and eggs to mixture. Stir in flour and juice of 1/2 lemon. Cover and let rise for an hour. Form into 2 loaves, put in greased loaf pans, and brush with salad oil. Let rise again for 2 hours. Bake at 325° for 35-40 minutes.

For rolls: Gently roll and cut, dip in melted butter and fold over. Let rise until triple in size. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes.
