| | Directions | | Use fork to cut shortening into dry ingredients. Knead gently 10 to 12 strokes to blend all ingredients. For crusty biscuits, place 3/4 inch apart on baking sheet. Brush tops with milk or light cream before baking for golden color. Bake on non-greased baking sheet in 450° oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 16 biscuits. |
