| | Directions | | Scald milk. Cool to lukewarm. Sprinkle yeast in very warm water in large bowl. Mix and dissolve well. Add milk, margarine, sugar and eggs. Blend at low speed for 1 minute. Add flour gradually. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Cover and let rise in warm place, free from drafts until doubled (1 hour). Stir in raisins. Turn into greased and floured 2 quart tube pan. Let rise again 30 minutes. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. |
