| Directions | Measure oatmeal into large bowl. Add brown sugar and mix well until there are no brown sugar lumps. Add butter, vanilla and syrup. Mix thoroughly. Place on a greased jelly roll pan. Spread and flatten with a fork. Bake in a 350° oven for 20 minutes. Melt chocolate chips and add peanut butter. Spread on warm bars. Will take a couple hours for chips to cool before cutting into bars. |
