- Thaw spinach and drain in sink. Combine the spinach, water chestnuts, celery, mayonnaise, soup mix, green onions, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix in bacon and shredded cheese, reserving 1 tablespooon of the cheese for garnishing dip just before serving.
- Place in a covered container and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours before serving.
