Rum Crantini Crush Recipe
Directions
  • In a medium saucepan, dissolve sugar in water. Add cinnamon sticks and grated orange peel. Bring drink mixture to a boil. Add cranberries; continue to cook until the fresh cranberries begin to pop. Remove cinnamon sticks. Add 1/2 cup of rum.
  • Refrigerate mixture in a glass jar for a minimum of 1 hour. Strain cranberry mixture.
  • Add remaining ingredients, stir and chill. Fill a margarita glass with crushed ice. Pour chilled crantini mixture over crushed ice.
  • Garnish with cranberries and an orange slice if desired.

-1/2 cup sugar
-3/4 cup cranberries
-2 sticks cinnamon
-1 teaspoon grated orange peel
-1/2 cup rum, light
-6 tablespoons rum, light
-12 tablespoons cranberry juice
-6 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed, adjust to taste
