- In a small bowl, lightly beat eggs and whisk in milk, salt and cinnamon until completely combined.
- Heat the skillet over medium high heat. Melt butter in skillet. Place the egg mixture in a pie plate and soak each slice of bread in mixture, coating both sides. Immediately place coated bread slices in the prepared skillet, browning on both sides.
- Serve hot. Garnish with powdered sugar, if desired. Top with your favorite syrup or fresh fruit.
