A tasty hot meat and cheese appetizer. Layered with a mixture of beef and sausage, cheese, and bacon, these little rounds are full of flavor.

Cheesy Beef and Bacon Rounds Recipe
Directions
  • Brown the ground beef and sausage together; crumble into small pieces. Drain off the grease; set aside.
  • Fry the bacon until done but not too crispy. Blot off excess grease with paper towels. Cut slices into 2 or 3-inch pieces.
  • Layer the round bread slices starting with the ground beef and sausage mixture. Then sprinkle with a generous amount of cheese. Add a slice of the bacon pieces on top.
  • Place the layered rounds on a cookie sheet as you get them assembled. Bake at 350 degrees F. until the cheese has melted.
  • Serve while warm.
