Directions
Cook corn in a small amount of water. Add butter, salt, pepper, and cream (except for reserved 1/4 cup). Bring to a boil. Reduce Heat. Mix rest of cream with corn starch until smooth. Add to corn mixture. Heat until thick, add sugar. Stir and serve. Add a little milk if you sauce is too thick.

-1 ounce pkg. frozen corn
-1 carton whipping cream - reserve 1/4 cup. (1/2 pint carton)
-1 tablespoon corn starch
-1 tablespoon sugar (to taste)
-1/3 cup butter (not margarine)
-1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
-1/2 teaspoon pepper
