Mashed Rutabagas - Recipe

Directions
Peel wax off of rutabagas with a potato peeler. Dice rutabagas into small cubes and boil them in a large pot of water with a little sugar added to it. Cook for 1 hour; drain and mash rutabagas in pot with a potato masher or electric beater. Add butter, milk, salt and pepper; mash again. Rutabagas will be lumpy. May be prepared ahead and reheated in oven or microwave.
