| | Directions | | Quarter cabbage and cut away the thicker part of the core. Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil and drop in the quarters of cabbage. Cook until tender. Drain. In another saucepan of boiling water, cook the noodles. Cook until tender, the drain well and mix in 2 T. of butter. Sauté the onions in the remaining 2 T. of butter until transparent. Chop cabbage and add onions. Stir over low heat for 10 minutes. Mix in buttered noodles, add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately. Serves 6 to 8. |
